This website does not use cookies. We set no cookies of our own, use no analytics, no advertising trackers and no tag managers, and we store nothing on your device. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store, so it can recognise your device on a later visit. Cookies are commonly used for logins, shopping baskets, and for tracking visitors across sites in order to advertise to them.
What we do instead
This is a straightforward informational website. It has no accounts, no basket and no personalisation, so it has no need of cookies. Specifically, we do not use:
- analytics of any kind, including Google Analytics;
- advertising or re-marketing pixels;
- tag managers;
- social media tracking widgets; or
- browser storage such as
localStorageorsessionStorage.
Third-party services that your browser contacts
Two external services are used. Both receive your IP address, because your browser has to connect to them to fetch content — that is unavoidable for any externally hosted resource.

Both services are operated by Google and process data outside South Africa. Their handling of that data is governed by Google’s privacy policy, not by ours.
Controlling cookies yourself
Because we set none, there is nothing here to switch off. If you want to control cookies generally, every major browser lets you block or delete them through its settings — usually under Privacy or Security. Blocking cookies will not affect how this site works.
If this changes
If NuMeRI ever adds analytics or any other technology that stores information on your device, this page will be updated first and, where POPIA requires it, we will ask for your consent before it runs.
